Bowman Product Breakdowns
Once you know the three major Bowman releases each year (Bowman, Bowman Chrome, and Bowman Draft), the next important step is to know what is included in each product.
Bowman Draft is typically the most expensive of the releases; however, the release with the best prospects varies from year-to-year dependent on how the players develop.
BOWMAN: The first Bowman release of the year is simply named “Bowman”. 2025 Bowman released May 2025.
Within this release, there will be a veteran and rookie “paper” set. Bowman “paper” cards are indicated by a red “B” in one of the upper front corners of the card. They are worth less than their chrome counterparts (indicated by a blue “B” in one of the upper front corners of the card). The veteran and rookie paper set is simply numbered 1-100.

The top autographs in this set are typically hold-overs from the previous year’s MLB Draft and top international prospects. These cards are numbered “BPA” and some variation of the player’s initials. For example, Charlie Condon’s chrome autograph in 2025 Bowman is numbered BPA-CC.
This release includes chrome rookie autographs, veteran autographs, and numerous insert and variation autographs. Each hobby box guarantees one autograph, each jumbo box guarantees three autographs, and each breaker’s delight box only contains three autographed cards.
